Drew the Corporal Rivaille once again, because, hey! Why the heck not?
And he's finally showing up for a longer screen time this weekend. I can't be happier, haha~ Though I honestly am getting tired of making the 3DMG (3D Maneuver Gear), so many parts and some of it don't really add up. (The Manga version was easier, I don't know but I just wanted to do the anime version. So yeah, dug my own grave)

My newest addiction, Lance Corporal Levi in Romaji, Or Rivaille from the hit anime, "Shingeki no Kyojin" or loosely translated into "Attack on Titan". It's currently airing every Saturday in Japan, and available with subs on Sundays. The episodes out so far are up to 8, and the chapters are up to 45 and with still a lot more to go.

I am no Legolas, I am but a humble Kuricurry, and with that my arms hurt like hell
A break from Cosplay and SnK progress: I've done gun shooting (and will proceed to doing that again) and now I've come to try out Archery lessons. And it's way harder than I even imagined. And I was imagine it to be hell. My arm and shoulder is a little bit sore, but that's to be expected of course. I kind of really don't have any form of actual exercise. But the teachers, only proceeded to correct me once and after that it was smooth sailing. There was fatigue that I hadn't really imagined possible seeing that I use my hands for most of the crafts I do. I cut and the likes so I thought my muscles would at the least be used to tension. But it's not, I've discovered muscles that felt like it never existed. I've discovered muscles that felt like it never existed. But with that said, I urge anyone who's been looking for something new to do besides splurge on food. We can eat at malls all day, but it's just once in a while we get a feel of actual ways to feel like you're capable of more than just consuming things and sitting around all day either typing along a keyboard or snapping shots of ourselves.
I am aware of course, that this photo has been used in one of my posts in this blog. But I've found the larger photo! And would like to thank the awesome photographer sir Jio Verona. It would probably one of the last times I'd ever have the opportunity to work with a team like that. Well, at least I had the chance! And I won't forget it.
Supposedly, though I don't think it applies anymore, when you get older you get wiser. Age begets wisdom, that sort of thing. Although looking at how it works out with information and technology being the way it is... the younger generation would be more or less wiser than the older folks because of the environment. But that's not the point, anyway, aside from collecting wigs I also like collecting contact lenses that I don't even wear as often as I should. Each pair could range from 300php to 800php. And a very long time ago, it used to be at 1,200php a pair for a year's worth. Ok, so those things aside, what happens during my birthday? Well, nothing really I just go out and look at the weather and sigh to myself at how beautiful it is. Draw at the end of the day. And at the middle of it, I eat something good and treat myself to a good drink. Quite the loner
Some Vocabulary used in the following blog content:
My Death the kid props that I never really ended up using A WIP sometimes becomes forgotten, or is changed on purpose. Though sometimes there are more reasons not to continue, maybe a friend backed out and the group never pushed through. Maybe because you’re having financial problems or that there are new fandoms present. In any case, I have had complete costumes that never have seen the daylight. And I’m trying to lessen it now. Here’s a list to STICK to those plan until the end:
There was a reason why the character had something that brought you to liking them 2. Think about the money Even if you’ve just simply bought the costume, am pretty sure there are some regrets that you’d get if you just leave that costume to gather dust. More so if you made it, there’s a lot more regret. There's also the fact that when you get ahead of yourself and buy the wig as well as the materials. But then Character X comes in, and he's oh so cool! You just HAVE to cosplay him tomorrow! Slap yourself, look at how much money you've spent and track back. You might be causing your own financial deficit. But then, if you're like some of my friends... money isn't really a problem. So we'll move on to no. 3 Stick to just one, or at most 4 characters in a list 3. You can’t cosplay ‘everyone’. NO. You just can't.
You see this character in a manga, you want to cosplay it. You see this game character, and then his brother and you want to cosplay them both. Then the series after that, and then the movie version of… You get my point? Stick to just one, or at most 4 characters in a list and plan them carefully. With this, you’d have room for more plans. (As am pretty sure you’ll gather more fandoms) Basically, make room for plans, and don't decide so hastily. Remember there's also time and money as well as other people's feelings involved (if you're in a group and you fail to deliver) I've been playing the AC series for the while, and it's either my lack of proper sleep but I suddenly want to make a list of things I want to have this Holy Week. Out of the entire series, there's the character and how his game had THREE parts, and thus the "Ezio Trilogy" as one would know if one has played Assassin's Creed. In any case, Ubisoft knows how to play the game and make the game. Hats off to you guys out there. Number FOUR:
All the respective images belong to their owners, I do not own them nor am I claiming to own them.
My resourcefulness was once again, put to the test. I didn't have enough money to get the materials I wanted. So every bit of cloth counted. Even zips and buttons were repainted and re-attached from other pieces I could manage to scrap up. The dress The petticoat, ribbons, detachable collar were pretty easy to do. The issue I had was the top bodice. It was a tube like thing, that I didn't have any experience in making. But hey~ I pulled through after thinking of how to construct it. All that's missing is possibly the knee high socks, and the detachable sleeves. There's still a lot of time! So this one would definitely be really polished before I set it off for people to see. But in all, once again I learned something pretty handy. From the construction, to the semi final finishing touches - it has been nothing but interesting. I'm really not too good with these kinds of crafts as am only starting to get used to them. But I suppose these are fine. Though for the next few props of hers, I would be following the recommended items. As I would hope I would already have finances.
Progress thus far: These were pretty easy to make and fix. And as of now, I also already have the pauldron like things on her skirt. (But will not be using it for now) In any case, my issues in the crafting lie in her subtle but really round chest plate. The Backup Plan
